The Making of the Mechanical Stampede

This watercolor was inspired by the inner parts of an analog watch. Its story reads:

The clock was ticking and its internal mechanisms were continuously moving. Every hour moved time forward and every hour increased the past. This predicament didn’t sound right to some. It created a stampede of mechanical beings who were looking to get away from such a device. They knew that as the past increased, so did the fate of their own mechanical parts.

INK/WATERCOLOR 18″ x 24″

Note: This painting was made not only with traditional watercolors but also hand-made shimmering watercolors. When light hits the shimmering watercolors, you will see the colors changing.
