The story that inspired this painting:
He was born color blind, but the noise around him pushed him to look through the lens. Suddenly, he became aware of colors, and the world revealed itself in stunning beauty. Colors were everywhere, vibrant and constant. Yet, despite their allure, he longed for the days before he was forced to see through the lens. He missed being color blind—it had been the best state of all.
